What is an NFC review card?
It is a card (or a sticker, a table stand, a keyring) with a tiny NFC chip inside. When a guest holds their phone against it, the page where they can write a Google review of your business opens straight away. No app to download, no searching for your venue on Maps: two taps and the guest is exactly where you want them.
What happens, step by step
- The guest holds their phone against the card.
- The phone reads the chip and opens the link to your Google Business Profile review page.
- The guest picks a star rating and writes a couple of lines.
Every card also carries a QR code, for guests whose phone has no NFC or has it switched off. Same link, same result.
How to set it up
You need the direct review link of your Google listing. You can create it for free with the Google review link and QR generator. The link is then written onto the chip: from an Android phone with Chrome it takes a few seconds, straight from the browser. A final test with your own phone confirms the right page opens.
